wow. what an experience this was for me. i am so lucky to have such amazing friends that are willing to allow me to be a part of such an important day. thank you to the cox family.
i arrived at the hospital about an hour before the scheduled c-section. we relaxed and prepared for the exciting morning.
then it was time. eric and scrubbed up while sarah headed into the o.r. for her spinal.
sarah is amazing. she is so strong and willing to go through anything for her babies without complaint.
the doctors started right away. i was amazed at how quickly everything went.
reaching in...there is her head!
grace anne is born at 8:34am!
6lbs 11oz, 19 1/2 inches long.
out of all the moments i whitnessed, this was the one that hit me the most emotionally. there is just something so sweet about daddys with their daughters.
back in the room sarah rested while grace was given her first bath.
such a sweet little girl! congrats to the cox family.
